How Learning Works
What a KUHAS learning experience actually involves, from the first lesson to a certificate of completion.
Online Coursework
Online courses are delivered screen by screen inside the Student Campus, with interactive lessons, knowledge checks, reflection workbooks, quizzes and assignments. Selected lessons are narrated in the instructor's own voice. Your progress is saved as you go, so you can resume where you left off.
Applied and Clinical Training
Where a program includes applied, clinical, hands-on or residency requirements, those requirements are completed during the training dates the University makes available for that program. Online coursework may usually begin before those dates.
Assessment and Grading
Objective work is graded automatically; written work, assignments and capstones are reviewed by faculty with written feedback, and may be returned for revision. Every attempt and every version stays on your record.
Final Exam and Capstone
Programs that require them conclude with a comprehensive Final Exam drawn from the program's own coursework and a Capstone assessed against a published rubric. Both must be passed before a certificate of completion is awarded.
Records, Transcripts and Certificates
Your progress, grades, transcript and certificates live in the Student Campus and remain available to you as a graduate through the Alumni Hub.
