Student Enrollment Terms
What a learner and the University each agree to at enrollment.
What Enrollment Provides
Enrollment provides access to the coursework, assessments and instructional materials of the program or offering you enrolled in, together with a University account, an academic record and the University's academic support for that coursework.
Account, Application and Access Are Separate
Creating an account does not enroll you. Submitting an application does not enroll you, and an approved application does not by itself open coursework. Course access opens when the University's records show that the enrollment or purchase for that offering is complete.
Tuition and Fees Are Non-Refundable
All course fees, tuition payments, program fees, CE fees and workshop fees are non-refundable once paid, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Withdrawing from a program or offering does not automatically create a refund entitlement. Withdrawal does not erase academic results already earned.
Academic Progression
Coursework may be sequenced, and some courses require an earlier course to be completed first. Where a program requires them, a comprehensive Final Exam and a Capstone must be passed before a certificate of completion is awarded. Paying in full does not remove an academic requirement.
Scheduled Requirements
Programs that include clinical, hands-on, residency or other scheduled requirements are completed during the training dates the University makes available for that program. Online coursework may usually begin before those dates.
Learner Responsibilities
Learners agree to complete their own work, to communicate through the email address on their account, to meet the requirements of each assessment, and to behave professionally toward faculty, staff and other learners.
Certificates of Completion
A KUHAS certificate of completion records that a learner completed the requirements of a KUHAS program or offering. It is awarded by the University and is not a licence, a government credential or an external board certification.
Enrollment Period and Time Limits
Any maximum period for completing a program, and the process for requesting an extension or a leave of absence, are confirmed by the University.
