Institutional Disclosures

Clear statements about what a KUHAS education is, and what it is not.

What the University Awards

KISSED University of Healing Arts & Sciences awards its own certificates of completion for its programs, courses, continuing education and workshops. A certificate records completion of KUHAS educational requirements, assessed by the University.

Education Is Not Licensure

Completion of a KUHAS program, course or workshop does not itself constitute state, provincial or national licensure, registration or the legal right to practise a regulated profession. Licensure is granted only by a government authority, and its requirements differ by jurisdiction and by profession. Learners are responsible for confirming the requirements that apply where they intend to practise.

Education Is Not External Board Certification

A KUHAS certificate of completion is separate from certification granted by an external certifying board or professional association. Where an external board exists, it sets its own eligibility, examination and renewal requirements, and the University does not grant, guarantee or control that board's decisions.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

The University does not guarantee employment, income, clients, licensure eligibility, certification eligibility, medical or clinical outcomes. Results depend on the learner, their jurisdiction and factors outside the University's control.

Not Medical Advice

KUHAS instructional content is educational. It is not medical, psychological or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified licensed provider. Learners and practitioners are expected to work within their lawful scope of practice and to refer appropriately.

Accreditation & Recognition Status

Institutional accreditation and formal recognition are conferred by external bodies, not by a university about itself. For that reason KISSED University publishes a statement about its own accreditation, recognition, state approval or registration status only after the University has verified the exact status and the exact body, and has approved the wording. If you need this information for a licensing board, an employer or another institution, contact the University directly and you will receive a written answer rather than a marketing claim.

Transfer of Credit

Acceptance of KUHAS coursework by another institution is always that institution's decision. The University's own position on transfer credit into its programs is confirmed by the University.
